Beautifully carved  by Nikita Stevenson from a flower jade found in the Marsden Valley. The inlay is tuatua shell from the local beach. This guardian Pekapeka carving is approx 9cm x 4 cm. The Kahotea pounamu looks like the reflection of white clouds on a Punakaiki river or Manuka flowering along the forest edge.
